Historical Outline and Overview
We were incorporated in the State of Texas in 1969. We were organized as a horse-drawn carriage company in Galveston, Texas. In 1988, operations were established in Houston. Mr. Parker started with one carriage and presently has over a dozen carriages, two sleighs, and several antique carriages and wagonettes; along with an abundance of horses in various special breeds, accustomed to the horse-drawn carriage industry.
Our headquarters are located on a beautiful ranch in Waller, Texas. We will be building out a new state-of-the-art facility that will enable future growth and expansion into other corporate and private sectors. We service the entire Houston/Gulf Coast area and will be working to saturate an already dominated demographic area.
We were born from the wealth of experience of Mr. Sam Parker who has been training horses since 1969.
Over the years, we has developed entertainment capabilities in the creation, production, administration, and acquisition of the horse-drawn carriage business, the amusement business, and the U.S. Hotrod Association.we have worked in cooperation with many large well-known organizations and businesses.

Proactive attendance and involvement at international events, Mr. Parker has accumulated a vast number of customers from Texas to as far as the rest of the United States and Mexico. In 1995, Mr. Parker started the amusement side of the business, and many of the vendors were the same making it a logical crossover. Due to the outstanding quality of services rendered, The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo asked Mr. Parker if he would get become involved in the parade and float industry. In 2002, he also brought Parades, Etc. into the growing fold.
Mr. Parker offers a wide range of services for any kind of event. Horse-drawn carriages are the main service provided by ABC Events, but with the entertainment pieces (games, inflatables, petting zoos, pony rides, etc.), ABC Events holds the leading market position for the Houston/Gulf Coast area. |
